Legia beat Wisła 2–0 and stay unbeaten; Wisła's president: "This is how matches are distorted"

Legia Warsaw beat Wisła Kraków 2–0 in the top game of round 10 of the Ekstraklasa and remain the only unbeaten team in the league. Wisła president Jarosław Królewski accuses the referee of three serious mistakes.

Zjawiński opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a volley after a long throw-in from Augustyniak. It was the striker's fourth goal of the season. Adamski added the second after the break, curling into the top corner from Żewłakow's pass. Damian Sylwestrzak refereed the game in front of 26,352 spectators. Szczepaniak of Legia and Duda, Uryga, Rodado and Grujcić of Wisła were booked.

Legia unbeaten

Legia have 22 points from six wins and four draws and are third. Górnik Zabrze lead with 25 points. Wisła, back in the top flight this season, are fifth with 17.

Królewski: three mistakes in six minutes

Wisła's president believes the throw-in before the first goal should not have been given to Legia and was taken incorrectly, and that Wisła should have had a penalty for a foul on Julius. He also pointed to a glass bottle thrown onto the pitch. "Three cardinal errors against Wisła, made by the referee in six minutes, is probably a league record," he wrote. "This is how matches are distorted, ladies and gentlemen," he added.
