Górnik Zabrze win 3–1 in Białystok and go top of the Ekstraklasa; Lech thrash Śląsk

Górnik Zabrze beat Jagiellonia Białystok 3–1 away and lead the table with 25 points after 10 rounds. On Saturday Lech Poznań won 4–1 at Śląsk Wrocław and Cracovia beat Zagłębie Lubin 3–1.

It was goalless at half-time in Białystok; all four goals came after the break. Before this game Górnik were unbeaten in five league matches and in all five away games this season. With 25 points they now lead the Ekstraklasa.

Lech and Cracovia

Lech Poznań won 4–1 in Wrocław and are second with 22 points from nine games. Śląsk have 6 points and are second from bottom, above only Raków (3 points). In Kraków, Cracovia came from 0–1 down to beat Zagłębie 3–1, with two penalties awarded after VAR reviews. The crowd was 11,163.

"We were leading 1–0 and the referees gave the hosts oxygen," said Zagłębie coach Leszek Ojrzyński. "We came back as the stronger team and turned the game around," replied the Cracovia coach.

On Sunday Piast play Widzew (14:45), Pogoń host Korona (17:30) and at 20:15 Legia take on Wisła Kraków.
